The proximity of maxillary sinuses and neighbouring and opposing teeth must be assessed. 3D X-rays are often recommended to precisely determine the position of important anatomical structures.<\/p>

In the first surgical phase of dental implant placement, our Montreal dentists perform an osteotomy (removal of bone segments) in the jawbone. They then insert the implant and the healing screw (or abutment). Sutures are also used.<\/p>
